Smart Visibility & Protection for Urban Riders
The FARO MIPS Smart Helmet from UNIT 1 redefines what a city-commute helmet can be. Built for visibility, connectivity, and crash protection, this helmet features integrated front and rear LEDs, turn-signal and brake-light compatibility, a MIPS® liner for rotational-impact safety, and crash-detection sensors that alert your emergency contact if you’re unresponsive. Ideal for daily urban riding or e-scooter use.
Constructed with an ABS hard shell and EPS liner, it is certified to US CPSC and European EN 1078 safety standards. The built-in LED system delivers over 500 lumens of total light output, making you visible in both bright daylight and low-light conditions. Controlled via Bluetooth and the UNIT 1 app, the lighting modes are customizable and the helmet pairs with an optional handlebar-mounted remote for turn signals and automatic brake lights.
What Sets It Apart
- Full 360° lighting with front headlight, rear taillight, and hidden RGB matrix for maximum visibility
- MIPS® liner provides added protection against rotational impacts
- Crash detection with emergency alert via app when rider does not respond after impact
- App-customizable lighting modes with support for optional turn-signal remote
- Secure magnetic Fidlock® buckle and rear dial fit system for easy adjustment
Note: Because this helmet includes electronic components, follow manufacturer guidelines for charging, storage, and care. Always replace the helmet after any major impact, even if no damage is visible, to maintain full protective performance.
